Face-to-Face Interaction and the KTH Cooking Show
We share our experiences with integrating motion capture recordings in speech and dialogue research by describing (1) Spontal, a large project collecting 60 hours of video, audio and motion capture spontaneous dialogues, is described with special attention to motion capture and its pitfalls; (2) a tutorial where we use motion capture, speech synthesis and an animated talking head to allow stude...

We report the high frequency performance of GaAs/AlGaAs multiple quantum well (MQW) based AsymmetricFabry Perot (ASFP) reflection modulator. The measured frequency response bandwidth of the modulator was ~600 MHz at an applied voltage of only 5 V at a wavelength of ~ 854 nm. The differential contrast of the modula-tor was 4.0 at an applied voltage of 12.5 at a wavelength of 863 nm.

(a) Top view (the ^ C curve) of the process. (b) The nal geodesic curve is presented on the 3D surface. 4. Example with an \egg" box surface. The initial curve (^ C 0) is given by a sin function on the (x; y){plane. 5....
